Rockley Public School, 35km from Bathurst, NSW celebrated 150 years of public education on the 6th of November 2010. Many ex-students staff and supporters attended a full day of activities followed by a cake-cutting ceremony and evening dance at the local Sportsground Hall. A highlight of the day was the many speeches by ex Principals along with a magnificent performance by current students who were all members of the Rockley Rock Band.
Photographs and memorabilia was displayed on the day and is now archived at the school for future generations. The Sesquicentenary was a magnificent celebration of 150 years of education in Rockley.
