School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Week
Date: 20th August 2025
Time: 9am
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.
Open day
Date: Term 4
Time: TBC
School open day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school.
P&C meetings
Date: First Monday of the month
Time: 3.10pm
Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month in the school hall. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Harmony Day
Date: Annually 21st March
Time: All day
Harmony Day is a celebration of our cultural diversity - a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. At rockley Public School we enjoy recognising the many cultures represented in our community and beyond, celebrating diversity, fostering inclusiveness, respect and connection.
Easter Hat Parade
Date: Last Day of Term 1
Time: 2pm
Our Easter Hat Parade is a time to come together as a community and create our hat masterpieces. Our students enjoy parading them around for the community to see.
NAIDOC & Sorry Day
Date: During Term 3
Time: 2pm
We hold events to recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achevements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Students are involved in hands on activities and engagement with local Aboriginal people and elders.
